Bridgestone Tires - Signs of Quality

One of the top quality tires on the market in the United States is the Bridgestone tire. These tires are used in many races, including the prestigious CART, IRL and Formula One racing tracks. Bridgestone tires are generally 2-3lbs heavier on each corner compare to similar size tires, that’s is unsprung weight. It will slow down the response of your car; or you need more fuel to get it up to your standard. Bridgestone Tires are designed to take those “g” loads on flat turns. They are also designed to take high lateral “g’ loads.
Probably no other sign of quality is more telling than the use of Bridgestone tires on the Boeing 737, 747-400, 767 and 777.
