The North Carolina School-Age Care Coalition (NCSACC) is dedicated to enhancing and facilitating developmentally appropriate care for school-age children outside the traditional school hours.

Did you know that the first meeting of the North Carolina School-Age Care Coalition was held in June 1991 and was conceived at the 1991 spring North Carolina School-Age Care Coalition Conference which was sponsored by the Division of Child Development?
By year’s end, a mission statement and goals were adopted and a first logo was designed. It was also decided that statewide training should be an important part of the organization’s efforts.
