No joke, this is actually what I gave my friend for their baby shower. Personally, I feel that a Fly Fishing Trip In Alaska would provide some respite from the months of preparing for the baby and is also a good getaway for the couple to bond together.
Growing as a family is what matters, anyway, they would probably get many Natural Baby Skin Care products. So, a short fly fishing trip in Alaska would do the couple more good and let them get used to each other to prepare for their parenthood ahead of them.
Of course, this is not to say that if you are not going to give natural baby skin care product, than you can bring any gifts for a baby shower. It is after all, an occasions that celebrate a new birth, so the gift has to be meaningful.
I guess, the bottom line in giving a gift is to bring a smile to whoever is getting it, so as long as your intention is to spread cheers, then by all means, give anything that would achieve that!

People give one of those best coffee makers, as it is both cheeky and fun to imply that the couple would need coffee to keep them awake for this new bundle of joy. Coffee machine would make an interesting gift.
However, when you saw that the gift is a gevalia coffee maker, those that you get if free when you buy the coffee, you are sad at the person at being so inconsiderate for an occasion that is so meaningful.
All this being said, giving gift should be from the heart and must be something you know would give the recipient an experience. If you are short on cash, make something for the person, even if it is just a card, the thought of making the card is so much more than giving the person a free gift and at times, something that is totally not appropriate…
